MLI encourages experienced, highly energetic, and highly qualified professionals to apply for its Summer Language Institute (SLI) to be held in Paris from June 31 to July 25, 2008. The SLI will offer language courses in Standard Arabic for any one interested in the Arab world and its culture and who would love to learn or improve their language skills, especially vocabulary, reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking. Courses will accommodate the needs of learners in different levels.
If you hold an MA and/or a PhD degree from an accredited University, and/or have been involved in teaching Standard Arabic, you are invited to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, and positions are open till filled.
Given the salience of the arts in the program, priority is given to applicants who have been incorporating any one of the art electives in their language teaching (see Program Structure).
