MLI encourages experienced, highly energetic, and highly qualified professionals to apply for its Summer Language Institute (SLI) to be held in Paris from June 31 to July 25, 2008. The SLI will offer language courses in Tunisian Arabic for second and third generations of Tunisians who would love to improve their language skills, especially vocabulary, listening comprehension, and speaking. Courses will also accommodate the needs of those with no or little background in Tunisian Arabic.
If you hold an MA and/or a PhD degree from an accredited University, and/or have been involved in teaching Tunisian Arabic, you are invited to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, and positions are open till filled.
Given the salience of the arts in the program, priority is given to applicants who have been incorporating any one of the art electives in their language teaching (see Program Structure).
